When Litify set out to mark a decade of impact, the brief was bigger than an anniversary event. This was a conference that needed to do two things at once: celebrate ten years of progress, and open the door to the next decade, at a time when the legal industry is being fundamentally reshaped by AI.

So how do you create an experience that feels exciting without feeling destabilizing? Forward-looking, yet deeply grounded in what the legal profession stands for?

Designing for Balance

From the outset, the goal wasn’t to overwhelm with technology or chase spectacle. It was to design a moment that acknowledged the realities lawyers face today – complexity, change, uncertainty – while confidently pointing toward the future. And to do so without losing sight of the human core of the profession.

As usual, we started with a story.

A Narrative, Not a Program

Our approach was rooted in narrative design. We developed an epic opening act that took the audience on a journey through the evolution of legal practice, tracing how, over time, layers of technology and process slowly distanced lawyers from the heart of their work.

The story framed AI not as a force that replaces judgment, strategy, or human connection, but as one that restores focus, removes friction, and brings lawyers closer to the work that truly matters. That narrative became the spine of the entire event.

An epic AI-generated cinematic opening set the tone. A cohesive arc carried through the program. And at the center stood Vera, an AI host with personality, who surprised, engaged, and ultimately stole the show. But more importantly, every creative choice served the same idea: positioning Litify not just as a technology platform, but as a force redefining how the practice of law feels.
